Day 1/Day 2 (2-1-16 and 2-2-16)

Day 1: Elisha (2/1/16)

Ash is me. I am Ash. That’s something I’ve had to live with for the past three years. I shift consciousness with him every time I go to sleep; needless to say, I try to rest as late as possible. Unfortunately, my memories don’t transfer over to his persona and vice versa; it’s only through this notebook that I can communicate with him, if that’s even possible.
Regardless, I headed to my alma mater for a prospective assassination attempt. Connor Lopez was in danger, and I would try my best to prevent his death.
                My best wasn’t good enough.
The last I saw of him, he was well on his way to become the next president of the extracurricular organization of which I was a part. Seeing him on the screens, I realized he had undergone a massive change. He was stronger, more confident, and had a dapper sense of business fashion. He grew, physically and emotionally.
And yet, I knew he wasn’t real. He had died three years prior, in an assassin’s accident that was not meant for him. Connor knew that he was in mortal peril when he accepted; it was a game that no one would survive. This Connor, the one who would be leaving the school in a few months, was nothing more than a carbon copy.
Am I a carbon copy? I guess I’ll never know.
I looked around for anyone that might want to eliminate him; all I could see were people from my past, some of them players in the last game, and some that were… unfamiliar. I didn’t know who they were, but I remembered their faces on the screens Drew showed me. Hopefully I can save one of them by the time this dreadful game is over.
Connor continued his speech. His voice boomed across the whole room as people applauded him fervently as he said that he would be taking his leave by the end of the semester, but he had already picked a successor who would continue his legacy. Before he could announce his protégé, he decided to grab a drink of water from the podium. A few seconds later, he started coughing violently, blood spattering all over. The screens were full of static as the words “LADY KILLER DISTRICT ½” displayed on the screen. The room was in an uproar as everyone scrambled towards the fallen president. There would be no doubt that a notable death in the university would be the most talked about event tomorrow; I uttered a prayer as I headed out silently. It would be easier that way; I’m not supposed to be here, after all.
It hasn’t even been an hour and the first death has been reported; I look at my list of possible players. Drew hasn’t given me a lot to work on, and I that’s what makes this task a bit more dreadful. I add the phrase “Lady Killer?” to Connor’s name before striking through the whole thing. I’m going to guess that these districts are teams, and that means his partner is still out there. Whoever he or she may be, I need to keep my guard up. I just hope tomorrow won’t be a bloodbath; it would be terrible is more than one death occurred.
                Ash, it’s your turn.

Day 2: Ash (2/2/16)

Oh hey, my turn? Sounds like a party! Like Mario Party? Those are always fun, except for 9. Eh, I sorta liked 9.
ANYWAYS! Speaking of games, I totally forgot that Digimon Cyber Sleuth came out today! I went to the game store to pick it up because I preordered it; the guy at the cashier was freaked out because my ID wasn’t Ash. Thank goodness that Jeremy Chao died so the clerk didn’t notice it too much!
Um wait, that’s a bad thing, right? Oh, yeah, forgot to mention apparently there was a fight going on in the game store, action figures and stuff were chucked out of nowhere. Something about a new player losing so early in the game. We’re playing a game now? I wanna play! I don’t know why the police weren’t called for this; actually, by the time everything was over, it was just me and this dead guy’s corpse. Haven’t seen the guy before, but rummaging through his wallet, I found out that he went to big bro’s school. That, and he also preordered that new Naruto game that’s supposed to come out next week. I didn’t think that he’d need it on account of him not breathing, so I took the receipt. It looked like he had a League gift card… no wait, something about him being in the League district, whatever the heck that means.
Oh, I also took some sort of flyer he had for a scouts’ luncheon later that day. Hey, I spent all that money on the game, I needed free food! So apparently they were honoring Tony… W? S? Ugh, that flyer was soaked in blood, I only saw that Tony WS (or whatever his last name was) was getting an award. I was sitting next to some people I remember from big bro’s notebook entries; some were players from the previous game, and others were… unfamiliar. Lunch was pretty okay, I ate it all at least. Hey, I don’t like wasting food, scouts’ honor! (Big bro was a scout I think.) He was supposed to go last (why else would “Omega” be on that flyer?) I had to pee, so I went to the restroom to pee; I like peeing. So yeah, someone did him in, in a scouts’ uniform no less! Man, you can buy those anywhere, can’t you? I saw the killer come out of the restroom before I entered and saw Tony in a stall, slumped over. Man, terrible way to go; I at least would have washed my hands.
Before anything got too chaotic, I decided to bail; apparently there were photographers taking pictures of the whole event. Shelby Lubienski took a picture after I went out of the restroom and asked if I could meet her in a bit. She was apparently on assignment from a local newspaper to cover the luncheon, but her ulterior motives surfaced; she wanted to get out of the game with her boyfriend who she suspected was playing too. Isn’t that adorable? Seriously, it’s so cute that she thought that; she was excited that two people could get out alive. You know what isn’t adorable though? The fact that she got shot before she could tell me anything about who was playing. Darn, and I thought this was going to be easy. The guy looked familiar, but I don’t remember seeing him before, eh, oh well. Shelby had another list in her hands; I pried them open and took her camera too (again, she doesn’t need it, right?) There was a list of Disney movies as well as the names of two other people meeting at a nearby bookstore.
Remembering that the new Assassination Classroom volume came out today, I went over there; it looked like Chad Reevus, um, Travis Reed (why would she write that last one down?) and Adam Wendl were leafing through some Tigers biographies and chatting it up. I decided to lay low since it’s more fun that way; there was a couple of guys that showed up around the same time I did. They looked really scary, like something out of a Japanese horror movie if it was remade in America and they replaced the actors with really scary people. So basically not a horror movie. What did happen was that they murdered both of the guys in cold blood; I also realized that no one else was in the store, so I ran to the nearest restroom and waited until they left before coming back. It was weird though; I saw Adam’s body, but Travis’s was nowhere in sight. Huh, that’s really weird.  Why would his body be gone but not the other guy’s?  Maybe I’ll find that out later, maybe I’ll find out if they end up killing Koro-sensei in this one.

I doubt I’ll know the answer of either of those questions. You’re up big bro!
